Is this true?

I showed an MRI of what looks to me like a syrinx to a spine doc and he said because it wasn't white (i.e. fluid filled) it was not a syrinx. Selma heeelp what do you think? Could I send the image for you to view it? If so, how?

A syrinx I might be able to recognize....TC...mayb not as not all TC issues show on a MRI....

Not sure I understand ur question?

Many with TC do have mild scoliosis and many also have Ehelrs-Danlos.

Hi Selma, I have some MRI's to show. One might look like a syrinx  and another possibly like tethered cord. I have a left to right slight scoliosis. Do you see anything like this?

Hi...u can post the pic to an album on ur profile page...that way neone here can also take a look....I am not a Dr so I can only say if it looks like others I have seen....but again, it is only an untrained eye and my opinion. U will want a Chiari specialist to take a look, as they treat Syringomyelia as well.
