2wks post op pulsating eye twitch

Things have been going really well since my decompression. Some days no pain, some days mild pain. A lot of my symptoms have either decreased or gone. Before surgery I used to get a twitch over my left eye, like around my brow. Also a nerve twitch in one of my fingers. The brow twitch hadn't been back but the finger twitch is still around which the dr said isn't uncommon. Now, though, under my left eye I've been getting an almost constant pulsation. My daughters said,  "mom your eye is doing that freaky thing again!" at dinner. This only started after surgery. Any thoughts? Ideas?? Thanks!

  Hi Steph....as u heal u will have the return of some symptoms as the nerves heal...so u may be progressing with the healing process a little faster than most as this happens at the 2 to 3 month point...

It is normal to have these things pop up..but they should not be as bad, pain wise or last as long duration wise as b4 surgery.....most do not expect this and r surprised...but the nerves that were pinched r coming back to life and stimulating others...so u will feel a little off  as this happens, but it does all calm down.

   Relax, and get as much rest  as u can

eye twitches are normal for anyone under stress and anyone in general.. I wouldn't be particularly concerned. it can be a lack of magnesium for example, tense muscles from stress... anxiety... dehydration.. or just a side effect from medication or surgery... if it become extremely bothersome or painful, you may want to ask your doctor, but i would consider this in the realm of normal.
