I have Chiari and I replied! This is what I said:
"They are especially a good idea for chronic illnesses like chiari because you don't want to get sick or feel lousy from deficiencies on top of already having chiari. Being deficient can make you feel fatigued. You don't want to be fatigued from chiari AND make it worse by being vitamin deficient. I don't know that they actually are effecting a chiari though seeing as it is a mechanical problem, not chemical.
I'm a vegetarian so I have to take B12. I always feel better and have a little more energy after I take B12 (sublingual dissolvable) but that's probably because my body needs it because I don't eat meat."
I guess to sum up what I said, no I have not found that taking vitamins has really helped my symptoms. Sorry :(

No worries...the members here know what u meant, it is those that answer from the questions for u on their home page that see it as a thread from the Neuro forum...not chiari...so they do not have a clue and may give a reply with good intentions, but not correct as chiari was not factored in.
Always look to see if the person giving advice is from this forum, to see if they at least have some experience with chiari...but always talk to ur dr about meds and supplements.
