calf pain

I am having some cramp feeling pains in my right calf muscle. I remember the nurse mentioning cabling the doctor if I have passive in my calf (along with many other things to look out for, this want the main focus) its not severe pain just like I pulled a slight muscle. I'm just wondering what this could mean. My doctor isn't open until later today seeing its Saturday and its 4:40 in the morning so Idk if its something I can wait for or I need to go to the er for. Does anyone know what this could mean?

Yeah, maybe it was just a muscle cramp. DVT pain usually hangs around... So sorry about the neck pain. Hope it goes away soon

It seemed to go away now so I don't think its anything to worry about. But I woke up and had rolled over on my side while I was sleeping and that really seemed to irritate my neck. I couldn't get up without help this morning couldn't turn my neck to the left. I've been sitting with ice on it for awhile now and it still hurts. I never know the emergent situations from just the irritatingly painful.

The calf pain is to watch for DVT (deep vein thrombosis) or blood clot in your leg. It can be a serious complication of any surgery in that it could travel and become a pulmonary embolus (a blood clot in your lung)...you should watch for lower leg pain, tenderness, swelling, warmth, redness. Also if you start to have chest pain or shortness of breath you should go to the ER immediately.
