dizziness when looking up or down

I get dizzy when looking down when reading and then I get nausea. I also get light headed when I cough or sneeze . Is this normal for chiari. Forgot to mention I recently noticed my bottom lip goes numb.

As the others have already said, yup...same with me and I was told to keep things at eye level...comp monitor , books etc so I would not have to bend my neck to look up or down at nething for ne length of time, as Dana mentioned it can take a tight area with minimal CSF flow and make it tighter....so get a book stand and place on a raised platform on a table so u can read at eye level.

I get the same exact symptoms and I was told that it is surely a symptom of Chiari... I also have central vertigo as well..

Yes. Sometimes the way we move obstructs our csf flow to brain which causes this. Have u had a csf mri or csf study done? If so was it recently?
