hit my head, kinda freaking out!

Hi all, I'm kinda freaking out a bit as there's no one home. A mirror fell and hit the side of my forehead. It didn't break and I didn't pass out or anything just feel a bit concerned as to what I should do, if anything? I'm not dizzy, can obviously type and my pupils are reacive to light so I assume I'm fine just wondering if I need to be a bit more vigilant due to having chiari even though it was the front of my head that was hit? Any advice would be great, thanks

I did sort of the same thing.  I hit the wall with the top of my head and the bridge of my nose on the head board when in therapy.  I had one done just to be safe.

Hi selma I have also done the same and fell / fainted and hit the front of my head. Right at the front where hairline starts in the middle. Not had any headaches but the area is very sore and hurts to bend over. I was decompressed 2 years ago. Should i be worried. Thanks mikaela

I hope all is well with you. Wondering if you decided to go to the doctor.
A little over a month ago, I had one of my drop attacks and hit my head on the way down. Like you, I did not pass out either. Immediately, my head hurt all over and my arm went numb. I got really sleepy. Every thing seemed better about half hour later. Had a headache the next morning but with how hard I hit my head, that was to be expected. Anyway, along with the headache, I developed nausea and dizziness for the next week. I didn't think to go to the doctor for a whole week until one day I couldn't remember my locker combination, how to clock in a work, log on to the register and I kept making stupid mistakes with money.
Be sure to watch for things like this, because I later found out I'd been walking around with a concussion. I was told by friends who've suffered concussion before that it would only last a couple weeks. When I was still having problems after that that had increased, I landed in the emergency room. I am now suffering what they called "post concussion syndrome." Because chiari is not their specialty, they wouldn't speculate but I'm wondering if it's lasted this long because of chiari. Now the problem s with chiari have increased.
Be as careful as you can. They told me to be extra careful not to hit my head again, but with drop attacks you never know. If you start noticing any of these symptoms (or other new symptoms), contact your doctor right away or go to the emergency room.
Sorry that took so long to get out. I have a terrible time getting the right words out these days. Take care.
