pinched nerve?

My lower back has been hurting so bad the last two days, i can't stand or sit up for over just a few minutes and laying down is a little better but still really uncomfortable. I have this weird pain/tingly feeling down my left leg constantly. I had an mri done before my surgery a few months ago and there wasn't a sryinx or anything, so I'm thinking it might be a pinched nerve cause i do have some bad discs. Or can a sryinx develop?

Well my ns us in Dallas which is 4 hours away and I'm without a vehicle and in no shape to drive right now seeing as i can't hardly sit up for more than a few minutes. They did an mri on my entire spine and never said anything about a tethered cord. Do i don't think i have it. I know they said i had mild scoliosis and bulging discs in my lower and upper . back

Hi...so sorry u feel so poorly post op....

Have u been doing exercises to keep ur muscles from getting tight?

And was Tethered cord ruled out b4 ur surgery?

A syrinx can develop post op from scar tissue that forms....again, moving ur neck and doing exercises will help prevent this too......

And it is possible to be a nerve that u did not notice or feel pre op....many times as the nerves waken and start to function we do feel pains usually around the 3 month post op time frame...we r all diff so give or take  a few weeks sooner or later...

When do u go to ur NS for post op visits?
