Yes I have been exercising and being more active. I think I will try to slow down a little. Thanks for the response.
You are just over 3 months post-op, and I looked back to my own pain journal and noticed that I began to experience similar feelings of pressure at about the same time. Are you exercising at all? I started to increase the intensity of my walking routine, and it felt good for a time. Then, I noticed the pressure in my head. I scaled back around Christmas (mostly because of traveling to see family). I have been taking the walking easier and feel less pressure. I am not sure what your activity level is, but it is definitely worth examining.
It can be an indication of a CSF pressure....when upright it gets worse...better when lying down....look into POTS...as it is related to Chiari....
You would also want to get a MRI to make sure you do not have another obstruction from scar tissue etc....
Do let your Dr know about the positional changes...
Thank you for the help. What does it mean when you lay down symptoms improve?
Hi....yes, it is possible to have pressure especially if you are living in an area with a weather event like snow or rain....we are walking barometers.....
Another possible cause is over doing it....yes you still need to be mindful of what you do activity wise.....
I have not had surgery, but I just wanted to bump this thread back up to the top.
Have you contacted your surgeon yet to ask him? Are you having the headaches with it?
Good luck.
