4 year old pooping in underwear

My 4 year old daughter has started pooping in her underwear about 2-3 wks ago, she dosn't go in her underwear at daycare she does it when we get home.  She dosn't tell me when she has to poop she just goes to the bathroom but its usually too late and she goes in her underwear and then tries to clean it herself.  I'm not sure if this is a reaction to her new sister who is now almost 6 months.  She has not had any problems with going to the potty before.  I also started giving her fleet fiber gummies about 2 months ago because she was getting very constipated.  In the last 2-3 wks the poop in her pants is not runny but its not hard like it should be but very very soft.  My husband and myself are at our wits end and  does not know what to do. Does she need to see her doctor for a problem or is this behavorial?  We  just don't know what to do any help would be greatly appreciated.

I doubt if this is a behavioral problem if you are giving her gummies to make her go, I suggest you cut them back somewhat , the fact she tries to clean herself shows she is trying ,she has a new sister and thats traumatic for a child and a big change in her life, she is now in second place, focus on her positive side and praise her when you see her doing something right, give her some one to one time and ask Dad to do the same.Children dont go to the bathroom to order, try not to reavt negativly as this could exacerbate the problem.
