My son is always getting into trouble at school

Help!! I raise my son as good as I possibly can but ever since he was 2 years old he's had aggresive behavior. Now that he is 10 years old the tantrums have stopped and we can go to a restuarant and actually have a  normal conversation, but at school it's a different story. He says he gets picked on alot and he is very aggresive with other students. He cusses and is very distruptive and disrespectful in the classroom. I have tried my best, is there any other parents that have delt with this type of behavior and have any solutions.

Thank you.

I just found this web site and I was just wondering how your son is now.  I know it's been a while since you posted this but reading it just really hit home with me.  My son is 13 and in the 8th grade and has had nothing but trouble since starting school.  Just like your son he could be fine when going out or at home but I'm constantly getting calls from school that hes being disruptive in class or disrespecful.
Please let me know what you did with you son.  I am at the end of my rope.
Thanks
Angie

This is going to sound strange, but a lot of my parenting skills have come from watching  'Jo' on the show "Nanny 911". It's on regular stations, you'll have to check for your area what time and days. Everything that has related to my own son on the show that I've tried from her doing it with the other families has worked! As far as the tantrums, it may be that he feels he's not getting enough attention from the teacher or classmates and we all know that throwing a tantrum will get attention unfortunatly. He may need to be taught how to get attention the right way and to understand that other people need attention also. I hope this helps a little.
