I agree with above advice about a checkup and switching to the living room.
I don't think that's the trouble, but it can help in a pinch.
My boys both had sleep problems about your age . One was a sleep walker, the other had nightmares. Maybe adolescence with too much going on through the day to process it all? A regular bedtime and active day helps, and you know about caffeine Drugs [prescription and illegal ] can disrupt sleep, as can alcohol.. Are you under stress because of lack of sleep, or is something else going on?
Are you worried or feeling guilty about something? It doesn't have to make sense, it can still bug you. If you can pin something down. you need to talk to someone understanding, who wouldn't give you a hard time.
Beans is a good ally , keep him close.
If your're religious bedtime prayers can help. They can help settle you down and help you sleep through the night.
I hope this has passed by now. My advice is just mom advice , I have a soft spot for teen boys.
Let us know how you're doing. Minna
I am sorry ,,its not nice when you cant sleep, how are you doing at school is all well, have you friends. You say you are under a lot of stress can you tell us what the stress is from, what about asking Mom and Dad if you can sleep in the living room for a while see if that helps you . Do you feel well apart from your feelings of panic? Have you asked Mom to take you for a check up and run it by the doctor to get some input from him..
