I strongly strongly recommend you get the book "Happiest Baby on the Block".

It is chock full of very practical soothing techniques that truly work.  It's written by a Pediatrician.  My son was a very very fussy baby and I thought he had colic.  We used the techniques in this book, and it really worked.  Please get it and give it a try.  I also agree fully with speaking with your Pediatrician.  Best of luck to you.

Oh goodness, I am sorry to hear this!  Yes, I agree with Anniebrooke that it sounds like colic has set in.  My oldest son had this issue as well. Boy, was I tired----  so I can feel for you.  I agree that gas could be the issue.  We used the gas drops that we can buy over the counter here in the US, just a drop in a bottle seemed to help.  I also started taking his little legs and moving them up to his stomach which my doctor said relieved some of the pressure.  I did a gentle massage to his abdomen as well.  Things like white noise are supposed to be soothing as well.  I also agree wtih anniebrooke that I'd run this all past your doctor to rule out anything else going on with your little one.  Lots of luck.  Kids DO grow out of colic.

She might have colic.  Talk to the pediatrician about what you are doing (what is acetite on the tummy?) and also you might consider getting an infant probiotic.  It tests better than "gripe water" and other supposed remedies for colic.  But do talk to the pediatrician, especially in case something else is going on.
