If he is able to control something one place and not another, one can assume . . . it is the place.  Is he stressed when at his father's?  Too, kids when out of their usual routine can become constipated.  Being constipated is difficult for some kids -------- they may always feel like the have to go and can't so then when they really do, they aren't as aware of it.  I'd keep some grape juice handy when he is at your home.  I'd do regular reminders to go to the bathroom.  And dad should not put him in pull ups.  Let's treat this boy with dignity and empathy.  Dad needs a soft touch and be more in the mode of guiding him verses the pull up mode.

Do you think he has emotional stress away from his mother's home?  It could be the key to the whole thing and something that needs to be addressed.

Stay patient and calm.  YOu are right---------- you could be the answer in saving this boy.  good luck

The pull ups are the problem as it is enabling him with the issue, so ask Dad to remove them altogether. Your son is 7 year old it is demeaning for his Dad to have him wear the pullups, I would question his motives especially as the child is clean elsewhere . Good luck
