voluntary vomiting

My 3 year old son has just started nursery.Everytime I leave him at the nursery he vomits and then his teacher calls me to pick him up.Once he comes home he is absolutely fine and starts playing happily.
I am very distressed. It has been going on for a month now and I do not know how a small child can  vomit at his own will?PLEASE suggest a suitable remedy.

Not every child is ready for school at age three. He obviously hates it. Keep him home for another year, and then try again.

I also agree with special mom. He may not be ready. And I know when my son gets worked up theres times he almost comes to that point too.

I agree with the above and would add that perhaps this little guy isn't quite ready for nursery yet.  Some kids take a little longer to find that to be the fun experience it usually is.  This happened to a friend of mine with her three year old boy and she took him out of preschool and then restarted the following year.  He loved it the second go around.  So he just might not be emotionally ready.

What about your staying with him and volunteering in the class for a couple of days to help him feel more comfortable and then transitioning out?

I think if they get themselves worked up enough they can ,have you asked his teacher how he gets on there, are there any problems with other children ,he may also have learned if he throws up he will get to go home, maybe ask teacher to start to keep him there. It may also be a good idea as he is throwing up a lot to take him for a check up at the doctor's .good luck
