I'm a 25 year old male. I was admitted into the hospital with afib with rvr. I get afib from vomiting its happened 2 times in the past 2 years. The cardiologist said something about the vagal nerve thats connected to the heart. I wasnt put on any meds because he says its not needed because it only happens when i vomit. After i was released i looked through my lab tests and noticed some abnormal levels, my red blood count is slightly low but i was told that can be from tobacco use which i have now stopped. My Bad Cholesterol is normal, my HDL is 26 and the reference is 40-70 so its pretty low and idk how to spell it but ill call it trig which is the fat in the blood is 209 and should be 150 or less, I know my trig is high because my HDL is low, so my question is how can i get my HDL back up within normal range?
