Going crazy from cough!!!!

I got stuffed up really bad one day then it went away. That was followed by a dry cough. Then I had a day or two of semi dry cough and slight stuffy nose but only slightly, not stuffed up like a regular cold.

Now I have a dry cough at night that keeps me up for two hours. That feeling in your chest when you start coughing every time you breathe. it is riving me CRAZY because it is gone during the day but comes back at night.

I am in the apartment all day so if it were an allergy why wouldn;t I cough during the day?

Nothing cures it. No allergy or cold meds I took them all.

Is it mold allergy or a cold or bronchitus?

I had a cough for months then it eased off ..I was given Bactrim anti biotic for something else and after 5 days had to stop it as it made me feel so sick and the cough was back worse than ever ...4 weeks in I still have it ..So it is possible in some cases be allergy to meds that are given
