Unknown sickness for two weeks

I'm 16, and I recently got put on amoxicillin for a really bad eat infection. When I went to the doctor, he said he saw no problems other than in my left sinuses which he assumed was the problem for my ear ache/runny nose/sore throat, etc. I've been taking nasonex, sudafed, and just today stopped taking my amoxicillin pills.

My problem is that now I have no ear infection, but I have a LOT of bright green mucus in my nose, and I have a persistent cough every time I take a deep breath and even when I'm talking for more than a few seconds. Sometimes there is mucus, but the dry coughs are whats bugging me. It's been two weeks since I've been to the doctor. Do I need to go back? Do I have something stronger than the doctor thought I had? Any help would be great!!

do you have a fever? if so you may need a stronger antibiotic to do the job. If not, then something else may be to blame, like an allergen in your environment.

You might have just been mis-daignosed..... i think it would be best to go back to see a doctor.. and tell them abt what happened.  and tell them your symptoms.
