i know its a worry and easy for me to say but try not to worry it could just need draining or it could be more than that
I'm not a doctor but my mother passed away a yr ago from fluid on her lungs...Which was congestive heart failure. They should have given him something to take the fluid off the lungs....I hope everything works out for yall
Numerous disorders lead to the accumulation of fluid or edema in the lungs.
Heart disorder such as a Heart attack/ Left sided Heart failure/ Valvular Heart disease/ irregular heart beat/ Infection of the heart muscle/ Infection of the heart valve/ heart disease that may have been present since birth/ To much fluid intake by a person with heart or kidney disease/ kidney disease/ Thyroid disease/ B1 deficiency. Other causes can be: Kidney failure/ pneumonia/ blockage of lung blood vessels (pulmonary embolism)/ pancreatitis. Test will be given in order to determine the underlying cause. Then a treatment protocol will be administered to treat the symptoms and to remove or reduce the fluid. There are a few other possibilities but the ones mentioned above are the most common. Try not to assume the worst. Doctor's have the ability and resources to do amazing things this day and time.
