hubby has lingering cold

So hubby has had a cold for almost  a month now.it went away a few days and then came back. he is snuffy and dragged out with little energy and is experiencing much coughing and sore throat.Thing is he is taking vitamin C daily as well as his normal multivitamins. He takes Neo citron which he says sometimes helps. He just stated echinachea today and also takes Buckley's and benelyn cough syrup. He is still sick and does not know what to do as it does not look like it is letting up. We have a baby expected for xmas but may be much sooner and I don't know how to help him...Any ideas suggestions remedies here.it just won't go away...he does not have any chest congestion or anything liek that. Just dragged out, weak, tiired, stuffy with moments of major nose blowing....Just wondering and I don't have the energy to look stuff up per say....I am going to have a baby soon and have pregnant brain..:0

I definitely would make a quick trip to the doctor. Defnitely sounds like he needs some antibiotics.

GNC's Olive leafe extract. Take 2 every 4 or 5 hours. Olive leaves have been used for centuries for colds flus and other illnesses. Also extra high levels of vitamin D.
Eat a few brazil nuts a day. They are high in selenium. Your body needs selenium to power the immune system. Have a few cups of strong green tea a day. Green tea is also a powerful antiviral.

I found sitting in an indoor hotub as long as I could with a few brakes and then a return to the hot tub, sped up my nasal congestion. The heat kills the heat sensitive bacteria and viruses. Your body raises its temp in order to the same thing
