Of coures, One particular popular remedy may be the application plain ice cubes directly on the infected regions. This could sting somewhat, but maintain the ice in location until it melts away. Once completed, take a soft towel and gently pat the location dry.

I'd make an appt. with your doc.  Green mucous often indicates pus is present which is due to infection.  Fever or not.  Sometimes it doesn't but you would want to get yourself checked.

My son had pnemonia (bacterial) and had a fever very sporadically.   It was very hard to tell what was going on with him but the cough was ever present.

And obviously, bronchitis is the other concern.  So, go see your doc who can examine you and give you a better idea.  good luck and hope you feel better.

It sounds like you have bronchitis. It comes in two forms, acute and chronic. Right now you haven't had it long enough to be considered chronic, so I am not really sure where you will fall - it could resolve soon or continue for months. Here is a pretty good resource you can read about what is going on - also if it continues for another week or so just make an appointment to see a dr. Or if you spike a fever, have blood in your mucus, or it gets worse.

Good luck

Sounds like maybe some mild bronchitis. If you spike a fever (>100.3F) go see a dr.

Green mucus
It can be an indication of a bacterial infection. Especially if the green nasal mucus is accompanied by fever and pain and it has been experienced for several days. A bacterial infection under those circumstances should be treated by a physician who would probably recommend an antibiotic. Otherwise the infection could linger on for days or weeks. Green mucus can also be a sign of bronchitis, if one or more of the following is present: coughing, fatigue, shortness of breath after non-vigorous physical exercise, wheezing, discomfort in the chest area.
