I have pain in my buttocks when i walk, sit or lay down.

sounds like sciatica. Yoga helps :)

It could be your sciatic nerve.  Try taking some Advil and make sure you rest for awhile.  If laying down is still uncomfortable, try laying in a position that alleviates the pain some.  You can also try icing the area or even a warm bath.
