angioplast srgery went blunder

14th sep 2015 my father had balloon anioplasty surgery at rockland hospital with 98% and 85% blockage ... two stents were placed in the arteries as told by the doctor ... after 2 days my father was discharged from there and he stayed well for almost 7 to 8 days so fit and so well no problems ... we assisted him throughout those days for better recovery then suddenly 29th sep by father had sudden heart pain breathing problem his face became abnormal, dizzy etc ... his urine was blocked totally .. we took him immediately to the hospital nearest one .. According to the doctor they said he had cardiac arrest and his heart is temporarily stopped .. They did angiography too check that the stent is blocked or not but the result was totally fine !He was put suddenly to the Ventilation and was kept under observation around 3:30am doctor called me and told that his BP is too low around 45 and he cannot do urine through catherer and his kidney is not functional and that's why he need dialysis .... and around 5:30 am they told me that my father is no more !
I was like wtf ... he was so fit and so well and these days i cannot able to think about those thing but now i want to knw the correct reason for my father's death and what actually happened to him !
He was a regular smoker and he was using the medicine asprine (for thiner of blood) !
May be i am not so expressive in these medical terms i hope u could understand wat i actually want to tell u !
Any reply would be highly appreciated !

thanx for ur reply sir !
Hospital did not mentioned anythng regarding his death, THEY TOLD ME MULTIPLE REASONS !
He had cardiac arrest went senseless urine blocked .... then they said they were successful in bringing the heart at normal rate and wanted to observe him for around one night and that night went terribly horrifying leading to failure of kidney and many organs and BP went too low ,cardiac arrest grab him again and he is no more !
They told no problems with stent placement , no infection , level of potassium and sodium at normal count !
We even neglected to ask the precise reason becz of the demise of my lovely dad !
He was only 49years old

My condolences for the death of your father.

From what you describe, I conclude that the angioplasty itself was a success.
If a week after angioplasty heart problems arise, it is in most cases from a clogged stent, but this was not the case for your father, as you said.
Therefore it could very well be that the angioplasty and the problems your father had a week later are not related.
Did the hospital not give an explanation for his death?
