Possible Crohns

Dear Friends,
I require some help from experienced persons. I am having the following symptoms but GP is unable to diagnose. Every time he does my blood tests and says you are ok.

Previous Year.

01.Suddenly Lost weight
02.Unable to digest anything.
03.As I went to bed I felt my heart is pumping too much. Got checked with Heart Specialist found nothing.
04.While scanning heart he found ulcers in my stomach
05.From 22 years I am having regular gas and beaching.
06.Constant visit to Toilet.

All this again looks to me as possible flare attack

This Year.

01. I had lot of sounds coming from my stomach. I went to GP, he says its normal.
02. Suddenly the sound has stopped from my stomach.
03. I got rashes on my hands which went away after 2 weeks possibly due to flare attack.
04. I got Mouth ulcers which lasted for 1 month and went away.
05. I got burning toungue I took B12 it went away.
06. I have got diaherria as I have to rush to toilet. I have to go toilet atleast 10 times a day. Particulary after eating food.

Pls help and let me know do I suffer from crohn's diesease???

You do not mention your diet? What do you eat? Have you tried changing diet? I suspect you eat alot of carbohydrates and that might be you problem or one of them. At least if I was you I'd try low-carb diet at first and possible anti-fungal diet to at least rule out dietary problems.

Hi, welcome to our forum where we hope we can give you the help and support you need, but please bear in mind we are not doctors or nurses, just ordinary people who have Crohn's disease and can only give you the benefit of our own experience.

Your symptoms certainly need more investigation than blood tests, which cannot diagnose Crohn's, only point to an inflammatory condition in the GI tract.  Of course, the symptoms could be the result of parasites, ibs, celiac disease, ulcerative colitis etc.

I believe you need referring to a gastroenterologist - a GP does not have sufficient expertise nor is able to do invasive testing to evaluate your current condition. Crohn's is definitively diagnosed by colonoscopy of the large intestine and/or endoscopy of the small intestine, with biopsies taken and sent to a pathologist for evaluation.

Take care,
