Wow, now this is who we need for Sec State. A man who accused our troops of torture, a man who was for it before he was against it, a man who was the original waffle/flip flopper, a man who said global warming is the next 9/11, a man well you get what I'm saying.

Here is my point. I am not a Kerry advocate at all but with that said, if you want to draw conclusions, do it based on facts. Those have been presented. Someone said He is either a guy who doesn't really know nothing about politics in DC and is part of the "good old boy" network on the left side (They take care of their own. Proof is by propping him up for an unsuccessful run at the Presidency and he hasn't gone away.) or completely brainwashed in propaganda.
Looks like to me there is a good ole boy network working on the right as well possibly taking care of their own?

A group funded by the biggest Republican campaign donor in Texas began running an attack ad Aug. 5 in which former Swift Boat veterans claim Kerry lied to get one of his two decorations for bravery and two of his three purple hearts.
But the veterans who accuse Kerry are contradicted by Kerry's former crewmen, and by Navy records.
One of the accusers says he was on another boat "a few yards" away during the incident which won Kerry the Bronze Star, but the former Army lieutenant whom Kerry plucked from the water that day backs Kerry's account. In an Aug. 10 opinion piece in the conservative Wall Street Journal, Rassmann (a Republican himself) wrote that the ad was "launched by people without decency" who are "lying" and "should hang their heads in shame."
And on Aug. 19, Navy records came to light also contradicting the accusers. One of the veterans who says Kerry wasn't under fire was himself awarded a Bronze Star for aiding others "in the face of enemy fire" during the same incident.

I forgot about that! Did he exagerate or did he totally lie?? I can't remember the details. Honestly, Kerry is a memory for me and I haven't been keeping up on him.

For me against Kerry... It is the flip flop thing that "everyone?" had against Romney. Seems as if the Democrats will give their guy a pass but will be judge, jury and executioner for a Republican.
All democrats ought to be torqued off that Kerry fabricated a wonderful, elaborate, war hero story about the Viet Nam era that he played absolutely no part in.

I think Rice got caught in a bad timing situation. I don't know what to think of the issues with Libya but trying to get a top spot such as this when you are associated with that controversial event is tough. Bad timing for her.

Your voice doesn't count even if you are an American, when it comes to who the president chooses for his cabinet. It's up to those goons in DC.
Im sure Kerry will have no problem getting the position. Republicans like him, he was almost president and has experience, and after all, he is not that Rice woman is he?

I don't expect some Republican to be nominated to the position but come on Obama you can do much better then Rice (even though not offically nominated) and Kerry. These people are a disaster.
I am not a Kerry fan. Not even a little bit. Is this who is seriously being considered right now? Sometimes I wish I was American so my voice could really count.
