A 54-page, $10 million proposal by top Republican strategists titled "The Defeat of Barack Hussein Obama" shows in vivid and gruesome detail what the President and all of us are up against.
The proposal laments that voters "still aren't ready to hate this president" but lays out a plan to portray him as "slick" and "cocky" -- and notes that they need to hire an "extremely literate conservative African-American" to insulate against charges of racism.
It says the President ran as a "metrosexual, black Abe Lincoln" and includes plans to spend millions on inflammatory TV ads using everything from Rev. Jeremiah Wright to images of the September 11th attacks to show the truth about Obama's alleged secret plan to destroy America.
In the words of one of these guys, they want to "do exactly what John McCain would not let us do" in the last election. And the plan was for it to be financed by a single billionaire.

That statement is what I disagree with. The purpose of this "propsal" by tghis "super pac" is to portray the president in a ugly light and honestky it's distasteful..But it is Politics right?! Name of the game...

The only reason these "super pac's" are coming up with money for a republican candidate is because of the amount of money the president can raise in a couple of days.... its about power, and its about the party line.

I have to respectfully disagree...The republicans cannot 100% say the President has done NOTHING for this country since he's been in office. They can say what he hasn't done yet but everyone knows you can't correct an economy that took several years to finally crash in 4 four years. Now I will say that both parties spend obscene amount of money for electins but you don't see the Dems with a "Defeat Mitt Romey" proposal...

This sounds like a last ditch effort to try and tarnish the President IMO. Unfortunately for the Republicans, it's NOT going to work...

All of this private money is being spent to protect bigger private money. It's both sides... democrats are equally guilty and spend every bit as much money. It's also about control or perceived control. Party line BS doing what it does best, further dividing the country to protect a few.

Absolutely obscene. All the money they are throwing at nothing would go a long way to curing what they say ails us wouldnt it? They need to repeal this law of allowing this imo.
$110 million could do a lot, but this is private money, not public.
Just think what the entire presidential campaign, on both sides, with end up costing. Couldn't those millions/billions, also, be used for schools, bridges, sheltering/feeding homeless, and a myriad of other things? Sure it could, but it won't be; instead it'll be used to smear the other party....... they don't try to bring out their good qualities any more; it's all about throwing mud on the other person. Talk about a waste!!

We will see . I really cannot imagine that Romney wants the religion thing to come up. However, we will see if the so called super paks honor this statement. Time will tell. This is a good example of the extremes we can look forward to.

It was leaked. It was a proposal not meant for public viewing Barb. Once it was leaked tho, Romney did denounce it. But that is an example of the kind of stuff we can expect from the super paks. Its gonna get UGLY!!!
I read the entire 54 pages, and there's something that doesn't ring true about it. Why would anyone give that much information on their campaign strategy? That would only give the opposition a chance to come up with ads/information to counter. Doesn't make sense.
One super pak of Romneys. Just one now, has set aside 110 million dollars for negative ads. This is a different one. Obama does NOT have that kind of money. Do the research. Romney has outspent himself 20-1 against the other republican candidates. Who says money cant buy love? Or power.
I'm disgusted with all that money going into this crap when it could be spent on the common good.
