I've often thought that a mandatory military service was a good idea. Now, not so much. There are just enough people here who would gladly turn their backs on their country, especially in the line of service. Look at some of the "jihadists" that have joined the ranks of our military.
Besides, these college kids are a waste of time and skin. they've been indoctrinated at their institution of choice and nothing you, me or anyone else can say will change that. They've got an opinion that their mommy and daddy paid good money for them to acquire.
What about hearing the voices of the men & women that put their @$$ on the line every single day, in Iraq, Afghanistan, Cuba, Korean-border, etc, etc, etc...?
And those men & women are putting their @$$es on said line(s) every single day, so that these moronic student idiots have the freedom to voice their silly little opinions and hold their asinine protests & forums.
Mandatory 1-year military service should be instituted in this country. The number of whiny little @$$clown's will decrease dramatically, if they get a good look at what their freedom of speech actually COSTS.
Freedom of speech is a privilege. Yes, yes... it's a Constitutional RIGHT, i realize that. But do these young fools know/realize what our servicemen & women do on a daily basis, so that our Constitutional rights can be upheld?
And they morons vote... how awesome is that!?!
(Apologies for my language. I feel very strongly about the support our military receives, and the lack of respect they're shown, through acts of this nature)
Well the school President is a very far left person, but from the reports it was done by the students. Which is just stupid. They claim it is so all voices are heard. But why do any voices need to be heard in this case? It is a MOVIE. What's next they have a forum before the showing of Shindlers List so skin heads can have a voice heard?
Modern day academia. Wouldn't expect less. I'd guess that a tenured professor was behind it as well,.
Yep, but what they have actually done it postponed the movie so they can set up a discussion and educational film before hand.
When it boils right down to it, its their right.
