That's the price of fame baby!!! It all plays out in front of the world.....
@Mrs... you're right and I'd say there's always hope. Downey did manage to salvage a career after his giant spin out....but with him too, we got to witness the whole thing.
@ El, I remember when he first quit Two and a half men, Radar online administered random drug test b/c he was saying he was clean. He passed all of them. But then again, it's Hollywood. Anyone can pee in a cup for you if the $$ is right!!
@ brice, I know what you mean. I think he's still unraveling but hopefully this show helps turn him around. There's hope if he wants to sober up and grow up. I mean look at Robert Downy Jr..He came out on top after his spiral!!
I wish the guy well, but besides being an addict, I think he has a few psyche issues as well. It's horribly unfortunate that we can basically watch someone unravel on our tv sets each day.... some things are better left private.
MrsP:
I thought that he ADMITTED that he took various types of drugs, and said that he was a frequent drinker...
I'm not sure what kind of half-a$$ drug test he took that came out "clean", but that boy FOR SURE has addiction issues. Sex, drugs, alcohol, whatever it is... he's an addict.
It takes one to know one, and he is me.
well *addiction problem..sorry
I agree he would be a different animal.. As far as the drugs/alcohol problem, he passed ALL the test that he took were clean..Who knows..
I wonder if his alcohol/drug issues are going to be addressed in the series. He doesn't have an anger problem... he's got an addiction problem.
I guarantee that if you removed the drugs & alcohol from the Charlie Sheen equation, he'd be a completely different animal.
I like Charlie.. He's a great actor. Two and a half men was HILARIOUS!....I've seen anger management the movie and I actually think it would make a good sitcom. Good fit for Charlie..I wish him the best of luck! I'd watch it!
