bizarre

This is wrong. This lady had a baby that died and did not want pictures taken. The hospital took 120 pictures of the dead baby posed in all types of poses. The pictures of her child,  are out in the web world now. It should not matter if the child is alive or dead, its HER child and HER right to say NO pictures.

Very very very wrong.  On every level. Losing a pregnancy/baby is one of the worst things you can go through and how you choose to deal with it or handle it is so personal.  Not only were her wishes not respected, but she was completely violated with those pictures showing up on the internet?  I hope she sues the pants off of them.  To make her keep reliving her nightmare like that?  Ohhh, I am so upset just reading this.

Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong!  What in the hell is the matter with people?  Not only does this woman have to go on without her child, there are photos being circulated worldwide to be a fresh reminder????

As parents we have no say in anything anymore,
where will it end.

There were not pictures of the dead baby, it was a video I watched of an interview with the mother and her lawyer. 120 pictures of a baby that is dead in various poses? That is sick! That baby belongs to the mother not the hospital. If this is common practice, then they need to find a new hobby.

Is it common practice for hospitals to take photographs of this nature, in the case of infant death, or were there extraordinary circumstances?

Sorry... I didn't want to watch the video on the link in case it showed some of the actual photographs. Not sure about any of you, but I'm really not up for looking at dead baby pictures. Not now, not ever.

Seriously, with all the crazy people out there now I can see why so many people are opting out of hospital births. Not sure if you saw a while back this lady had a baby that was mildly jandus and the hospital wanted the baby to stay overnight, but due to money the parents talked to their doctor who said the baby was fine and they could put the baby in natural sunlight each day instead. Anyway, some nurse went on a control freakout and called child services saying the parents refused to treat the baby, and out of fear the young mother let them keep the baby. How sick is that? Hospitals have too much power now imo!
