I think Detroit & Japan have it all wrong.
They should be making/designing/engineering vehicles that are LESS fuel efficient.
The consumer/driver buys more gasoline/petrol, tax-revenue from gasoline/petrol sales increase, more tax-revenue in the federal "coffers", plenty of money to repair/fix the highways & bridges.
Problem solved.
~Thank you. Thank you very much. I'm here all week folks!~
I am sure they will find a way to charge those who dont drive much.
This would be great for me,I bought my car brand new 11 years ago and have only driven 105,000 km
1 tank of petrol lasts me 3 1/2 months,
My husband has a car provided by his work and all petrol put in that is paid for by the company, even when we drive the company car on weekends they pay the fuel bill.
Yes we will be doing a two for one alright..theres lots more ...lol you have scratched the surface ..
