I'm actually coming along pretty well. Driving at night with them is the worst, so I take them off. I quit flattening my nose on glass doors yesterday, so I do truly think I've turned the corner with these miserable things.... I did mange to trip over a pallet with a big box of melons in it at the store. The wife got a kick out of that, then she apologized when she realized that my glasses threw me off.
I tried Bi-Focals once. I never could get the hang of them. I tossed them when I pulled out infront of on coming traffic and almost caused a major pile up. Those cars looked a lot further away than they actually were.
Thanks... I think I have it under control. Went to the store, got to walk up and down stairs and didn't end up in the emergency room. Just might be working.
If you cannot adjust soon, or if you start feeling dizzy or nauseated, run for an adjustment.
They are and this is my second go around with real glasses. Lost my last pair about 2 weeks after getting them so its like starting over. Of course I waited a year or so, and now I've been asked to wear them all day every day.

(I am looking through some new bifocals and nothing I read is making sense right now....LOL. I am having a hard time with the "sweet spot" and have had to re-read nearly everything I've seen so far. I need to go get on some "honey do's" and quit reading. Hope I don't lop off a digit with the new peepers "helping" me out so much.

I don't know. Sounds like an attempt to get anyone not on board with potential attacks loaded up and on the train.
Not that I am right, but I can't help and look back at the first Gulf war. We walked out too early and have been "entertaining" the region ever since. It seems like we have the regularity of pulling out before we finish the job and end up making subsequent trips.
I hate the potential of our fighting men and women losing their lives as well as the potential for innocent civilians losing their lives, but we've got to do something new, innovative and something that lets these people know that other big countries are on board and we mean business. I don't think organizations like ISIS or Al Qaeda take any of this seriously. They ramp up their efforts and the rest of the world ramps up rhetoric.
I can't help but think about the religious aspect of this and what their religion promises them for becoming a martyr. Pretty easy to keep getting people interested with all of those "virgins".
