Not to worry; this kept me busy, researching for a while, which is not a bad thing, because I learned a lot of other things in the process..............lol
No sweat.... no big deal. I worked in social settings like this for years. By no means am I a lawyer, but I do know how things can go wrong in a hurry. Even people with the best of intentions, trying to prove a point can be legally arrested. It depends on the circumstances.....
This really looks like one of those biased, inflammatory things put out by either side. Neither is exempt from doing this or possibly being affected by it.
In hindsight this should not have been posted.
I was upset after seeing that video of Ann Rand, when a friend sent me this link.
Normally, I would have researched it before posting.
Sorry to all ~
You cannot have anyone arrested for asking a question. You can have them removed from the area if it is private property. You can have them removed if they are causing a disturbance.
I don't care for Ryan. This looks like it holds as much water as the article about Obama giving security clearance to the White House to a terrorist....
Ryan can't have anyone arrested, he can have people leave the building but it is up to the police if they want to arrest someone. Which it is common for people where ever to be asked to leave because they are not following the rules.
Perfectly understandable.
My husband has photoshop, and I'm the first to be skeptical. It's easy to distort videos even when there aren't obvious gaps. It makes it hard to know just what to believe.
One thing I found just now, when searching other than more of this same video was a news article claiming 3 protesters were arrested. Whether one of the protesters was this 71year old man, wasn't mentioned.

I'm not a fan of Paul Ryan and I don't really think he will do Romney a lot of good, but I've looked around for other references to this incidence (as well as checked snopes.com, etc) and can't find any references, other than the ones posted above.
I can't imagine someone getting arrested for asking how he'd pay for his medication; so I have to wonder if there was something edited out of the video.
We all know (or should) that we can take video of anything we want, edit it to suit our purpose, then post it on YouTube -- if you do it right, it goes viral.
As I said, I'm not a fan of Paul Ryan, and he might cause me to not vote for a President in Nov, but I can't buy into this, at this point.
