Well, since Im older than most on here and have lived on carbs for decades, we will soon test this theory! OMG, is this why I forget where I put my keys when there in my hand? And my glasses when they are on top of my head!

I remember watching the news on TV during the 70s. They used to have the what I called the 'cancer scare of the day' report.
However there is something to be concerned with about consuming wheat.
A few months ago, I got curious about all these people becoming glucose intolerant and about the rise of celiac disease.
It didn't make sense to me.
After all, wheat is the staff of life, for centuries, right ?
So I did some searching and found that the wheat plant itself has been hybridized to make it easier to harvest but the big offender according to what I read, was that almost all the wheat grown in the US is GMO modified wheat. We are eating food that is causing disease. I'm sorry but some plant made to resist the constant spraying of a strong pesticide such as roundup just cannot be good for us to be eating. My guess is that is the culprit and not carbs, per se.
