sorry I didnt mean that to sound as a jab at you,it was in general..
thanks! I am not as informed as I should be:( I have been shying away from the new lately cause everytime I turn it on someone has shot someone eles:(
They told us in March that the plume had reached us in California, it has been all over the news , and internet ..the Japanese have raised the level to a 7 which is the same Chenobyl was, You will find lots of information if you put it into the search engine, there are maps with the details of how its moving across the US and into Canada 5 out of 6 items in the food chain have tested for radioactive particles ... Everyone needs to stay informed ..
I didnt know it reached the states, let alone spreading to canada. Where did you find this information margypops??? I am really saddened by this. All those lives lost in Japan:( Truely heartbreaking:( My DH thought he was funny and made a joke in very bad taste about the population reduction in Japan, saying it was the only way.
I have just googled and looked at the maps of the radiation levels here on the West coast, the plume is over us now , I have to tell you it looks frightening. Look for your selves as it is spreading across the country into Canada .No one here is warning us about anything, as usual with governments .
Yes ...I have seen this coming ...many are still dying from the radioactivity from Chenobyl that blew into the atmosphere and across Europe in fact across the world .The British government didn't come out immediately with any guidelines like in my opinion is happening here they said it was okay ..balloney I had family in the north of England and we told each other from common sense , do not drink the milk, or eat the veg and we did what we could , I was in the south of England and protected somewhat .There have been many cases in Europe of Leukemia ..especially childhood Leukemia . .
I remember Chernobyl from my late teens. Because of my youth, the thing didn't seem all too bad. I don't know, maybe I am far more compassionate or conscious these days. What a truly horrible event. So many lives affected and devastated.....
