GOP pollster blasts the NRA

With all due respect, I only read a portion of the article.  What I am seeing is a complete retreat from people who claim to "protect" the second amendment.  And this isn't even about the 2nd Amendment.... this is about protecting our children and Frank Lutz has offered nothing.  Instead of joining the conversation, he's jumped to bashing ideas.  

Say something useful.  Say something innovative.  Try to find a solution or stay out of the conversation.  

There are things in place that have been spray painted as safe guards, like "gun free zones" that have done absolutely nothing to thwart attacks like this.  In fact, people are now saying cowards like this Lanza kid are keying in on "gun free zones" because of the likelihood of being stopped by an armed individual are next to nothing.

So where is the constructive conversation?  Sit back and do nothing, Lutz.  It suits you.

There it is.  Lets face it... everyone in politics just like the NRA are lobby groups.  Unions... say no more.  They are only in it for themselves and their dues paying members.  No better than the NRA.

I'm not a member of the NRA.  Gave up on them years ago.  But the meat of the subject is, here is this pollster running his mouth about the organization rather than trying to find solutions to this issue.  The NRA offers something up and this smacked *** just runs his mouth?  

Find a solution or at least talk about it.  Running ones mouth isn't doing anything productive.  It's a hell of a lot easier than working on the problem though.... sounds like DC and lawyers.

I have nothing favorable to say about the NRA, which is nothing more than a powerful lobby group that is out to simply serve their own interests. I think at some point in time, we the people need to decide what is and isnt acceptable and kick the self serving asshats to the curb. It has done nothing but turn political. We need real solutions not more rhetoric to save their bottom lines.
