  What is the purpose of a Lieutenant Governor, other than the person who takes over incase something happens to the Governor? I couldn’t even tell you who our Lieutenant Governor is. The only time I  hear the phrase “Lieutenant Governor” is around election time. Should this even be a paid position unless he/she is called upon?
