They have been trying to get their hands on our supplements for years. So they are finally doing it? Good grief.

I expect the rationing of the cancer drugs will go up in 2014 ...over a certain age may not get them ... Big Pharma is also doing well getting a lot of our supplements removed .....

Money, Money, Money and to hell with the people! I heard this morning there is a shortage of certain cancer drugs because (they dont make a huge profit), now I hear that heartworm meds for pets is a shortage because they are not making enuff of them? (I know that really makes sense doesnt it?) Yes, we always got our scripts filled from canada cause it was cheaper then they put the nip on that. I agree it is all because you get it cheaper out of the country.

Hmmm....maybe it's a plot to take over Canada and I had it confused....

I guess it could be the terrorists?  Or maybe it's those pesky aliens again, and they are attempting a takeover of earth (that would explain H1N1...or was it the H1N1 vaccine, I cant remember)!!  Or maybe we're not actually Canadians..maybe WE ARE the terrorists or the aliens....it's all one big conspiracy posing as a benefit to the US population.  Good thing those pharma companies are looking out for you or who knows what might have happened.

I do wanna know who gets the 500 million...I didn't quite understand.  Is it the pharma companies?  Good grief...first they overcharge you, then they sue when you are given opportunities to buy the same drug cheaper.

Oh yeah, I remember that - and wasn't there something about how your country gets drugs from other countries and if we buy Canadian, we'll all die?  If that be the case, I can't imagine how there can be an Canadians left alive.

Profits?  What profits? *I* didn't get any profits!!   You can't possibly be saying that Big Pharma wants all the profits for themselves, can you?  Shame, girl, shame........... lol

I seem to remember that when this first became an issue, they claimed it was because there was no way of knowing "what" you were getting from the Canadian pharmacies.  Darn...so much for our plot to get you all into a drug induced stupor and take over the country....Yep, that must be it.  It couldn't possibly have anything to do with the profits.....

It used to be legal to buy drugs online from Canada, with a proper script, but wasn't one of the big issues with the healthcare overhaul that people had to stop buying drugs from Canada, because they were cheaper than U.S pharma would sell them??

You're right - Big Pharma wants no government regulation, but look how fast they yell "fowl" over something people might actually be able to afford.....

Who is evil?

Google... which helped people to buy prescription medication for less than the outrageously exorbitant prices charged by Big Pharma,

or Big Pharma... which has, by this action, successfully blocked U. S. consumers from buying their medication outside of the U. S. and has by their lobbying efforts prevented Medicare from negotiating lower drug prices?

It’s funny (funny pathetic, not funny ha-ha) how these pharmaceutical company's on one hand, want NO government intervention in the way they do business when it comes to offshore manufacturing, importing goods without any taxes or duties, complain on any sort of local protection measures and drain the public’s wallet unregulated, and then on the other hand, cry like little b*tches at the slightest HINT of some Google ad's that may lead to competition, and go to the same government to seek protection.

It is a crime that Google should have to pay for this.

Pharmaceutical companies overcharge Americans an add significant unnecessary cost to healthcare in the US.

The same drug manufactured in the same factory is sold for half the price in Canada, and even less in 3rd-world countries. The FDA’s complacency with Big Pharmaceuticals is appalling.

We need significant regulations for pharmaceuticals and Obama’s healthcare plan does not address this nearly enough.

Google is big but the pharmaceutical industry is even bigger and they don’t want anyone or, any company, muscling on their proffits…

In all honesty, I thought it was legal to buy drugs online from Canadian pharmacies.
