In a sick kind of way, I found the video funny then and I still do now. No doubt some of those kids were traumatized. Some of the adults may have been too. After all, here is a guy who carries a gun every day and is paid to do so and look out for our safety and well being.... BANG!
That BANG changes a few things for me. If not changes, it shines a different light on things. Things like that are reasons that I carry.... anybody can have an accident. What if this guy had that gun pointed elsewhere? Completely different outcome. It's not that I don't trust law enforcement, but what if your only help accidentally kills him/herself and you are "left to the dogs"?
Hmm - even "authorities" on guns can do dumb things. He "assumed" that gun was empty; he should have checked to make sure.
