If that were true, she is either brazen or an idiot. What she said is research-able.... but taken at face value, why is there a limitation on whom she can choose for insurance? If she has other choices, I wonder why she didn't get squashed.... or maybe she did.
But what was it she was saying about the number of insurance companies and how she is limited in her choice?
Why can she not choose her own Insurance and why is it not more competitive so that people can choose what is affordable?
My niece has a friend who works for a health insurance company and they give them incredible perks, fancy cars right off the showroom, gift cards at 5000. per month for clothing (cannot wear the same outfit at work twice)
If the employees (salespeople) are getting that kind of money, there seems to be a lot of waste in healthcare in terms of the Insurance companies, so if we cannot make them more competitive to drive down the costs, can we not limit them in other ways, like having the Gov't take over? Ha!!! I saw that cringe, pro...but really, it works in Canada and other countries, why not?
I think her statistics are suspect and the clichés and buzz words she uses (crafted by Groundswell and their ilk) are shopworn.
