Least fun Levi Johnston article ever.

Looks like he isn't just getting past his differences - and reportedly getting back together - with Bristol Palin - he's also hoping to make amends with her mom.

"Last year, after Bristol and I broke up, I was unhappy and a little angry," admitted Levi in a statement to People, regarding his ongoing feud with the family.

"Unfortunately, against my better judgment, I publicly said things about the Palins that were not completely true. I have already privately apologized to Todd and Sarah."

"Since my statements were public, I owe it to the Palins to publicly apologize."

"So to the Palin family in general, and to Sarah Palin in particular, please accept my regrets and forgive my youthful indiscretion. I hope one day to restore your trust."

Bristol Palin added her own statement: "Part of co-parenting is creating healthy, honest relationships between parents. Tripp one day needs to know the truth and needs to know that even if a mistake is made the honorable thing to do is to own up to it."

Johnston and the former V.P. candidate had been engaged in a war of words, with the 20-year-old accusing Palin of complaining about her job as governor of Alaska and claiming "there was a lot of talk of divorce" in the Palin household.

Bristol and Levi were also fighting for custody of Tripp, and Sarah Palin even went so far as to speak out against the "malicious" remarks he made (and bash the Levi Johnston nude Playgirl spread) during public appearances of her own.

But Bristol, who recently made her acting debut on ABC Family's The Secret Life of the American Teenager, said they want to turn "a new page here as co-parents … and [put] aside the past because doing so is in [our son] Tripp's best interest."

Levi acted like a stupid kid.  Now it seems he is behaving more like an adult with responsibilities to a child.  For that babies sake, I hope he continues down this road.  I may not be a S.P fan, but what he did was uncalled for and very childish.  Glad to see he is growing up.

He embarrassed himself more than anything. Hopefully he will have grown up just a little bit.

It's about time, is all I can say.  He publicly trashed Sarah and all for a profit. I'm glad he's finally owning up to it and publicly apologizing. I give him credit for that.
