All good points, Vance.
I'm guessing that other Arab states won't take these refugees in because for one, financially they don't want to be involved. Second, they want to distant themselves from any casualties of recent attacks abroad because it will hurt business.
For some reason, there is more of an outcry for refugees and immigrants than there is for our own who have served, in this country ~ unfathomable.
Thank you Vance, I naively thought that they could not be here. I live very close to DC, White House, Pentagon.
I am afraid. My son works in downtown D.C.
When 9/11 happened I was on my way to work, I heard they hit the Pentagon, turned my car around at my work place and went home...screaming all the way. The first time a plan flew over head I made my husband go pick up my son from his school.
"They" say we let them win if we are afraid. What about if we are dead?
Thank you again for sharing. Dee
Exactly, why not have a country that is Muslim take them in? Why does the West have to and risk it's security?
Hell why can't the $ that is used for these people be used to help Vets that are homeless or have PTSD? What happened to helping our own countrymen and women first? Espically those who fought for this country?
What about Qatar? I hear they're wealthy, and could help support refugees financially? Are there other Arab states that could help with these refugees, closer to their homeland? Aren't they oil rich and Muslim friendly?
