Message from RGlass (Ricky)

Hey Everyone... I got a private message from Ricky today asking me to post the following message so y'all would know what's up with him...This is word for word what he sent me:

"I just wanted give ya’ll an update. I have been taking some short rides on my bike that went well. I convinced my self, I was ready to take a road trip from Baton Rouge to Memphis. Long story short, I made it about 20 miles north of Jackson Ms .and managed to run off the road and flip my bike. It was night and they said they found me about 20’from my bike, in the woods. I have a broken shoulder, concussion, bruised ribs and a totaled Harley. So much for The Power of Positive Thinking. I don’t guess I’ll be doing that again."

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery for Ricky and hopefully, when he's well again, he'll be able to ride once more, as I know he loves his bike and getting out to ride.

I had another message from Ricky day before yesterday.  He's started physical therapy, but I'm sure it will be a long road to full recovery.  Let's hope it goes quickly, as I don't think he has much patience for being unable to do as he pleases...  :-)

I haven't heard anything further from Ricky and I'm going to try to get a message to him, to see how he's doing.  I'll update as I can...

Oh Ricky, just hearing  about the accident, I am so very very sorry. I am praying for a speed recovery for you. Please, park the bike forever

My best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery. I can relate so well to you Ricky. I haven't ridden my bike this year. And that is really weird for me. I just feel I've got to get myself in shape before I ride it. I'm working on that now so we'll see. Anyway, get well soon Ricky.
