When the economy has negative growth for 2 consecutive months it is called a recession. The numbers put out today showing growth is because the inflation adjustment used was incorrect to show that growth.

Our state unemployment rate was 6.4% in March vs the national rate of 6.8% - not much difference. That 6.4% was up from the Dec rate of 5.9%. Our rate has to be adjusted seasonally, due to the high influx of winter inhabitants.
FL has a minimum wage of $7.93... I guess you'd say that's the job killer?
