More serious flooding in Canada
What the heck is going on? Today Toronto got a months worth of rain in just a few hours from crazy thunder storms. As a result, serious flash flooding has taken place. I've attached the link to some photos. Currently a good chunk of the city is without power, cars and commuter trains are stranded awaiting rescue. Pretty serious stuff. I just spoke to my cousin. He, his wife and their 2 year old are without power and their basement is flooded, with the waters rising. If it continues they will need to evacuate. What is going on in my country?

The weather here has been a bit kooky too, but it is what used to happen. Its been years since we've had regular afternoon thunderstorms but we've had a bunch of them this summer.... our fire danger is way down.

Ughh. Sorry this is happening to your peeps and country Adgal! Natural disasters are a very scary thing. Two weeks in a row of them is incredible. Well, incredibly awful. Again, very sorry to hear this is happening and hope your cousin and family will be able to stay at home and be safe. peace
