Nuclear Power Plants?
Two Nuclear Power Plants in the plan for the future. To help us create jobs, go green etc, etc. The last power plant constructed was 30 years ago. So, is this a good idea? bad Idea? What say you?
Right now I think we need to do whatever is necessary to produce our own energy and independent from foreign oil, so we can get out of the mid-east and leave them to themselves. I think we need to drill off our own shores, nuclear energy, but at the same time putting in the same amount of effort producing alternate energy sources. I would normally concider myself more of a tree-hugger, but the fact that we are so dependent on foreign oil causes to many problems.
I think it's a good idea, but it scares me at the same time. I hope we can find a way to dispose of it safely. We have got to get off this foreign oil somehow.
