lol.... It really is up to the individual where they want to spend eternity. I dont think Hell will be a friendly place but Im sure it wont be a lonely one either. Not my issue. Like abortion or the other controversial subjects. I sincerely believe that the choices one makes is between them and their god. Whoever/Whatever that god might be. And actually when it all boils down it is silly to get into political debates because we read the end of the book and no its not going to end well for this world. At least for those who believe in the Bible. We can sure talk some strange subjects on here. But let it suffice to say that Christianity and Religion are as far apart as heaven and hell. imo

Mr. Glass, I did NOT say that nor will I tell anyone they are going to hell.
I will say what I believe and what the bible says about it, but I personally do not tell another they are going to hell.
Besides...I happen to pray for all of you who dont believe,  that you will believe...so there is hope. And..if that offends you that I pray for you...it shouldnt..because if you think my beliefs are crazy anyway...then my prayers cant do any good now can they? lol I also pray for you guys with your health issues to be healed too..so its not just your soul I pray for, but your physical health to be good.
You know...one thing I have wondered about....I know there are those that pray to other gods and they believe in their power, but when you dont believe there is a God, what do you do when you are desperate for help in a particular situation? For my own situation, I am trusting God is going to heal me, so even when I feel like I cant do this one more minute, somehow God brings me encouragement that healing is coming.
Teko... you made me laugh..polics and religion...lol

I guess I am of the born again variety. I believe in being born of the womb and then of the spirit. Not even going to get into exactly what that means as it is just too much to get into here. I also believe in the one true living god. And yes I believe there is really a lake of fire. Oh boy! Politics AND Religion! Wow! Im done. lol

I LOL'D all of your comments...Too funny. Thank you!.....

"I believe if I pray to my God..the God of hte bible,  he hears and answers. The bible is very real to me and true and God says there is no other God but HE...and the only way to know him is to believe Jesus is Lord...no other name. To accept any other name or power as equal to my God is blasphemy."

I have to agree with BB. My parent are Nigerian/Muslim, I have a born again Christian Sister (really don't know too much about that..) and another sister that is married to a christian. My brother (I think) practices Islam. Then there's me...I don't claim any particular faith. I have my bible (which I don't read nearly as much as I should) and I Strongly believe that If I pray He hears me and answers them. I don't go to church or mosque. But I do believe in the Bible and What GOD says in the bible that there is no other God but HE and the only way to know him is to believe Jesus is Lord... just my 2 cents if it's worth anything..lol

And as for you two ladies Disagreeing and still managing to accept each others point and not be jaded by it is because you are WOMEN..We're just GOOD like that!...lol...

Sorry bbx, I mean no disrespect, but I don't think anyone can truly know his intentions.  We just all do the best we can.  And I 100% believe that we do all pray to the same God.  We just all do it a bit differently.  I believe that as firmly as you believe what you do.

R Glass...
There are Jews that get saved. Not all will be saved, but a remnant will accept Jesus. Look at the new testament...some Jewish followers of Christ.

Adgal...I dont believe in organized religion either. My faith is very personal.
As to the same God....I can not accept that. I believe if I pray to my God..the God of hte bible,  he hears and answers. The bible is very real to me and true and God says there is no other God but HE...and the only way to know him is to believe Jesus is Lord...no other name. To accept any other name or power as equal to my God is blasphemy. I do have assurance I will be in heaven when I die. I am very thankful for that.

See, this is my whole hangup when it comes to organized religion.  I don't 'believe it's in how you pray or what your name is for your higher power.  I don't think it makes one bit of difference if we attend Church, Mosque, Temple or other regularly or never.  I personally feel we are all judged as individuals by whats in our hearts and by our actions.  Organized religion has been the cause of more killing, terrorism and horrible acts (and I mean every religion) then anything else in history.  Why can't we just let each other be and not be talking about being damned to hell or anywhere else.  None of us really knows until we pass....and they aren't talking!

Since they rejected Jesus, and Jesus said,  “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” or you saying they reject God or doomed to Hell?

Jews believe Jesus is a false prophet.
I dont know what God they worship because they rejected Jesus as Lord.
My God, has chosen the Jews, but the Jews rejected him, becuase the only way my God could be their God is if they accept Jesus as Lord...God the Father, Son, Holy Ghost...all the same...three in one.

Jesus was a Jew, and believers are grafted into the covenant of Abraham.
If you look up blasphemy, there are lots of examples of it.
The Jews blasphemed when they rejected Jesus. Speaking against God is blasphemy.
Woshipping another God also.
Speaking against the Holy Spirit is the only unforgivable sin.

Well too bad. Jesus was a Jew and we are adopted jews, right bb? Correct me if I am wrong but I was always under the understanding that blasphemy was considered to be unbelief in the Trinity. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Correct? bbxx? Off topic I know, just came off the top of my head.... lol

True that many in the Arab nations call for the wiping out the Jews altogether.  You know what's interesting...Islam and Judaism are very very similar in their belief system. They both believe in God, they both believe Jesus was a prophet, but not the son of God.  Customs are similar too.  Dietary restrictions are close, both believe in women covering their hair, I could go on and on.

I hope things get settled there.  Still, I do believe Israel should work with the 2 nation plan (it would seem they agree to that) as honestly..how would any of us feel if someone suddenly moved into our country, took it over and claimed it was their promised land.  And all the powerful countries backed them.  I'd be ticked.  And that is essentially what happened.

Yes...there is a land issue...but also...the Palastinians dont want the Jews to exsist at all.
ITs a very long and confusing thing to try to answer. All is in the bible.

I do I do.

Land, plain and simple.  Palestine has been there a very very long time.  Israel decided it was their peoples chosen land (in the mid 70's I believe) and just went in and took it.  United Nations backed them and recognized them.  Mecca and Jerusalum are considered religiously sacred by both the Jews and Islam and both want it!  They have been fighting and bombing the heck out of each other ever since.

I don't like Hammas as I see it as a terrorist organization, but I feel sorry for the Palestinians as well.  They have literally been occupied for all that time.  They refer to it as an occupation, and they are right.  The methods in dealing with it could be handled better though.

Does anyone know what the Israelis and Palestinians are even fighting about anymore?

I'd be willing to bet that very few people KNOW what the conflict actually IS.
