Have you ever been discriminated against because you are a teen mom, stared at, made fun of?
Have you ever been pressured by your boyfriend to have sex relentlessly and he could care less if he impregnates you in the heat of the moment, walks away like he didn't know you once you ARE pregnant?
Have you ever had your private life exposed in a public way because you have a huge outward bump growing?
Have you ever not been able to get a job because they can see you are pregnant and don't want to hire you?
Have you ever really had to make hard choices about career verses kids or did you always have a partner when you became a parent?
I could go on and on for the things you as a man have NO idea about.
Abstinence is not reality. Young women have sex (often because the boys are so obnoxious about it). They need access to birth control and abortion so that THEY can choose the trajectory of their life.
Men don't have the same issues if they impregnate a girl. They get to cry about some child support and go on about their life.
Planned Parenthood is a community service and should be supported and as time has gone on, I feel stronger and stronger about it. While I don't like abortion at 30 weeks or later or even 25 weeks . . . I don't walk in another woman's shoes. I will not judge them.
Typically, I don't even entertain this discussion with a man as pregnancy is unfairly put upon a woman to deal with so WOMEN are who I want to talk to.

You want PP to stay open that is fine, but something has to be done about them. They may do this or that but they also want 3rd term abortions legal and then you have this woman talking about selling tissue of aborted babies.
A child can survive outside the womb at about 26 weeks or so. The majority of America thinks that abortion should be illegal or legal in only certain circumstances. Abortion is not birth control, women and men need to be taught more on if you don't wan to have a child don't have sex. If you do have sex then you run the risk of getting pregnant even if you use condom, pill...etc. I think what is being taught is when you have sex use protection, but that is not enough.

Abortion is not killing a baby. There is debate about when a fetus is a baby and forcing women to have a baby is barbaric. Women need to have safe options to terminate pregnancy when that is their wish.
And I personally think Republicans are on the wrong train making this their firm stance because it makes me really question if I can continue voting Republican.

I support Planned Parenthood 100 percent. Most likely bogus claims Vance. And putting down one employee (sipping wine over lunch . . . like really) does not relate to the whole organization.

I, in all honesty, think the issue of birth control and abortion and gay rights is the downfall to the Republican party.
If ONE Republican would come out and go against party lines, I think you'd see so many Republicans FLOCK to that candidate. I know I would.

Planned Parenthood apologizes for exec's 'tone' in video

The president of Planned Parenthood on Thursday apologized for the “tone and statements” of its chief medical officer, whose candid comments about fetal organ removal have generated heavy attacks against the organization.
“Our top priority is the passionate care that we provide. In our video, one of our staff members speaks in a way that does not reflect that compassion,” president Cecile Richards said in a video statement released Thursday afternoon.
“This is unacceptable, and I personally apologize for the staff member’s tone and statements,” she said.
Dr. Deborah Nucatola, senior director of medical services, was filmed discussing the demand for fetal organs such as livers, lungs and “intact” hearts. The video has racked up more than 1.5 million views since it was released Tuesday.
Nucatola has since been "reprimanded," vice president of communications Eric Ferrero wrote in a statement to The Hill, though the organization declined to provide specifics.
The secretly recorded video, which depicts Nucatola sipping wine over lunch, was created by anti-abortion advocates who posed as buyers from a medical research company.
Since its release, two congressional committees and multiple states have launched investigations into the organization’s fetal tissue donation process.
Planned Parenthood has released more than a dozen pages of counterattacks against what they called a “smear video” filmed by abortion opponents who want to permanently ban the procedure.
In the video, Richards also doubles down on her defense of fetal tissue donation — which she said contributes to “life-saving research.” She said the donations are only done with the woman’s consent and never for profit.
“I want to be really clear. The allegation that Planned Parenthood profits in any way from tissue donation is not true,” Richards adds.

Totally agree Brice. And PP has helped a TON of people. Glad it was there for your wife.
Its gross, trying to sell aborted fetus parts. With that said, I think there is a place for PP. My wife through her college years depended on PP for her birth control as well as gynecological check ups. No way could she afford to go see a gynecologist as a student. The place served a purpose and still does today.
Teens are still teens and they are still smarter than their parents. they are still getting knocked up on a very regular basis and I find it particularly amusing when an 18 year old has 2-3 kids..... A lot of these people are god fearing, god loving individuals and would never, ever consider birth control or an abortion but they have no problem milking the system and a lot of their conservative brethren have no problem with that.... but will ***** all day about people milking the system. I don't get it....

It is not phony, no one has come out to say this woman is not who the video claims it is. This is 100% authentic of who she is.
I'm not liberal Vance and I suspect (highly) that it is phony. Planned Parenthood does a lot of good but has enemies. They've been caught trying to 'trap' PP and make them look bad before.

How can you not see this for what it is, EVIL. Just like the Acorn videos about the people helping a hooker and pimp "establish" a business. Real video of real employees. You can love PP or hate PP but this is just sickening.

I, too, have to question the authenticity of such a video. A lot of people want to do away with Planned Parenthood and I think some will go to any lengths to do so.
I agree that PP is the only place that many young girls are able to get birth control and they do need to have access to it. It's all well and good to teach abstinence, but we all know that isn't going to happen.
There are those who get pregnant and are not capable of being mothers; they need to have access to safe, affordable abortion.

In general, I am a proponent of Planned Parenthood. Wasn't always but way too many young mama's out there who should have been on birth control and for many, PP is the only place they can get it. Abortions also are something I've come full circle with and think these same young women that have no business being mothers need to have access to.
