Put Gay's and Lesbians in Electrified Fence to Kill Them Off

North Carolina Pastor

The barrage of anti-gay sermons delivered by North Carolina-based pastors to hit the blogosphere continues with yet another disturbing rant caught on tape.

The pastor, identified on YouTube as Charles L. Worley of Providence Road Baptist Church in Maiden, N.C., condemns President Obama's much-publicized endorsement of same-sex marriage while calling for gays and lesbians to be put in an electrified pen and ultimately killed off.

"Build a great, big, large fence -- 150 or 100 mile long -- put all the lesbians in there," Worley suggests in the clip, reportedly filmed on May 13.

He continues: "Do the same thing for the queers and the homosexuals and have that fence electrified so they can't get out...and you know what, in a few years, they'll die out...do you know why? They can't reproduce!"

He also said that if he's asked who he'll vote for, he'll reply, "I'm not going to vote for a baby killer and a homosexual lover!" Many of the congregants cheer and reply, "Amen."

Worley added, “It makes me pukin’ sick to think about -- I don’t even whether or not to say this in the pulpit -- can you imagine kissing some man?”

The pastor's comments seem in line with statements made by Ron Baity, founding pastor of Berean Baptist Church in Winston-Salem and head of the anti-marriage equality organization Return America, who told his own congregation that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people should be prosecuted as they were historically, and Pastor Sean Harris of the Berean Baptist Church in Fayetteville who advocated parents "punch" their male child if he is effeminate and "crack that wrist" if he is limp-wristed.

Similarly, Tim Rabon, pastor at Raleigh's Beacon Baptist Church, condemned states such as Massachusetts, Connecticut and Maryland which have already "re-defined" marriage to include lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) couples before asking his congregatnts, "What is stopping them from refining marriage from a person and a beast? We're not far from that."

Lol, just caught that now El.  Although today I can tell you I would happily head to a deserted island...I'd give a lot for an hour to myself!

Mike - you mean you didn't know that?  But of course heterosexual parents don't give birth to homosexual children - at least not in his church.  Seriously, and we wonder why so many gay youth don't talk to their parents or anyone else.  Just pathetic isn't it.  This is one of those times where I can honestly say I wish free speech had some limitations on it.

Although I know you were joking, the idea of putting any group behind an electric fence is not funny.

I remember as a kid seeing people with tattoos on their arms from concentration camps.
Americans of Japanese descent were kept behind fences during WWII.

Some things are just too horribly real and possible to be funny.

And I'm sure, when faced with extinction, the gay men and lesbian women would find common ground and "take one for the team" in order to bolster their numbers!

Amanda- you think I was joking about the dessert island? H3ll, I think I might want to go there! All you can eat Banana Splits and Tres Leches and German Chocolate Cake and Turtle Cheesecake and (insert favorite dessert item here).

Are you telling me that being put on a dessert island would be a BAD thing?!?

Now, putting them behind an electric fence or on a DESERT island, now that's just barbaric.

This guy is not only a despicable bigot - he's also a consummate moron.

He suggested that he'd keep all of the lesbians and gay men inside of the fences and everything would be fine eventually because they could not procreate. Like gay parents have gay kids................ or something like that.

OH - I know he was.  It's always fun to give him a hard time though.

You do have to wonder what makes people choose to follow someone like this though, don't you.  I mean, even most folks raised to believe this are changing their mindsets.  When I watch clips of some of these pastors though, they are so charismatic (some, not this particular one) and I can see how some might be influenced.

What is it though that draws followers to people like this, like moths to a flame?

Of course El's joking. Even literal me figured that out.

Personally, I wish when idiots like this start to rant, everyone would turn their backs and walk away. Give them zero attention and they'll shut up.

What a waste of electricity.

Why not just put them all on desert island. Or a dessert island. That might actually work out better, as they'll be fed, while at the same time, keeping them away from us.

Yeah, a dessert island... I like the sound of that better than an electric fence.

I'm just sayin'.

And all this from a man "of the cloth".  What is it in the bible that he is not getting, and what makes him exempt from the 10 Commandments?
(Its things like this that make me question religion.)

Hatred is still hatred and there is no hiding behind the guise of "worship".  If there is a God, I hope he holds this guy accountable for the hate he is spewing.

Also, what is it that makes people so needy that they would follow this guy?  Doesn't say much for civilization if this clown is considered a leader.  Better than that, if this guy is considered a leader, maybe that explains why things are as jacked up as they are these days.

It deeply disturbs me, not because you have an intolerant idiot on a rant, but rather one that has a bully pulpit to do it from and holds himself up as a leader of the word of god. I guess he didnt read the parts of the bible that says, if you are without sin, cast the first stone? Or how about judge not, lest you be judged? Or how about the incident in the bible where the prostitute is being pursued by the townspeople and Jesus told them, you without sin cast the first stone? Hate the sin and not the sinner? Or how about this one. Love thy neighbor as thyself.

They take a sentence out of context and use it as their weapon of choice, and we wonder how we lose our right to worship that the bible describes?

Well we are seeing how, up close and personal.

Is there not a law that if your going to talk politics in church, you pay the taxes? Well, I think its time for the tax exempt status to go bye bye and its time for those who call themselves followers or christ or fishers of men to go back to the bible and read it and pray for enlightenment . And cast the devil out of their church. Cause this aint from God!

There was an actual clip of the guy giving this sermon.  I thought I was seriously going to be ill.  And we wonder why there is still bullying of gay youth?  People actually listen to guys' like this so called Pastor.  I say so called because this is NOT a man of God and should be ashamed of even calling himself that.

Here's the link with some of the video footage.  Unbelievable....
