I remember when the democrats were mad at Bush for appointing a Justice in similar circumstances.  Now, the republicans are blowing an o-ring.  This stuff never changes.  it's like the movie Ground Hog Day.

No, it has certainly happened before but what gets me is, the republicans keep talking about how Obama is "shredding the Constitution" and "doing whatever he wants" and this is described as part of his job as the President, as per that very same Constitution.

it just doesn't stop....  Scalia we even respected by the Liberals.  His best friend was Ruth Bader Ginsberg, for crying out loud.

I have great respect for Scalia, but I agree that Congress is out of line to refuse to consider someone to take his place, in the event that Obama were to put forth someone reasonable.  

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time something like this has happened.

I was not a fan of Scalia but the Repubs are way out of line on denying Obama's pick before he's even nominated someone. The whole gang is ignoring the constitution, no wonder Sanders and ( ugh) Trump are pulling in the votes
