I would support Obama when he decides to use missile strikes against Syria.

I heard that the NYTimes and twitter have been hacked by pro asaad supporters. I also heard dsert that the actual targets would not be on the stockpiles of weapons, so Im wondering if this is true then what is the point of us going in at all. Its a very costly slap on the wrist imo. I just wish he would ride the red line remark and take the slack over saying it and back off. No UN assistance her and no congressional approval (the congressional approval thing doesnt surprise me because if obama wants it they automatically go against it), even tho they been squalling for intervention themselves. It seems like a huge set up to me that is going to go very bad. I agree with you adgal, completely 100%

As for the economy, listen to Eisenhower's remarks on the "military-industrial complex. The American economy only runs smoothly when we're sucking vast quantaties of oil out of the ground and fighting a war somewhere. This is why Groundswell and the other Right Wing propaganda mills are beating the war drums.
