State of the Union

Anyone?  The President says he "has a pen and has a phone" and "that's all I need".

It's not just Obama. The whole group, Dems and Reps are bought off by big money corporate and banking  interests and are not representing the people.
And it seems to me that even when you get an intelligent informed person in office it isn't long before they too have gone for the golden ring forgetting about what's best for their constituents.

If we stopped electing complete idiots into the WH, maybe there wouldn't be such madness.

Brice & I have been chatting about this... it's not Obama's fault. I know that might come as a shock, that we think that, but it's true.

He is a puppet. A puppet put up for election by a party so hell-bent on getting into the WH, that they'd play the race-card in order to do it. Well, it worked. But to what end? Nothing has been done to take advantage of their time in office ("their", as in Democrats).

We can't blame Obama, that he's inexperienced, incompetent, and is surrounded by idiots.

There are some EXTREMELY intelligent Democrats out there. Why they aren't on his cabinet, I have no clue, but what's currently in there... MORONS.

You have to see that what I'm saying rings true, at least partially.

I'm not saying Republicans could have done a better job, not saying that at all. Dem's won, fair and square. But at least surround your elected puppet with SMART PEOPLE to guide him.

Instead, we get idiotic programs like the ACA (which wasn't thought all the way through).

I'm 100% on-board with insuring EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN. Really I am. But Obamacare was not the way to do it.

Do either of you understand what I'm getting at? I'm being as honest & straightforward as I can be...

" I wish the madness would stop and everyone would work together for US! We are the ones left eating the dust from their private war. "

So true.

I couldn’t say when was the last time I watched a so-called “State of The Union Address,” regardless of who the President was.
I wish a President would give us an actual State of The Union instead of a bunch of rhetoric and everyone would sit down and act like professionals instead of a bunch Teenagers at a Jr. High Pep-Rally.

Thanks for the hate speech, way to show that tolerance.

I forgot the republicans in congress should just give in to everything Obama wants. That just slipped my mind, apologies.

I mean it would be different if bills passed the House but was never brought to the vote in the Senate because of Harry Reid, right? Republicans are not giving ideas they are just blocking everything Obama wants, right?

EL you have hit the nail on the head, ever though he was elected 2x's, his numbers are low because of racism, and republicans block everything he wants because of racism. And the black republicans are nothing but Uncle Tom's or House N's.

I agree. Is my view as well. I wish the madness would stop and everyone would work together for US! We are the ones left eating the dust from their private war.

Seems to me our President is well aware that it's the Tea Bangers that are the ones who are polarizing our country and, as a Constitutional scholar, he has gone *way* out of his way for the last five years not to play into their game.
But that's just my view of it.

As long as Congress keeps on doing their job (blocking him at every turn, no matter what he says or does, in an attempt to make him look ineffective and bad), then it's all good.

I know, I know... his ideas are AWESOME and he's such an amazing President and all, and nothing he ever does is wrong and he's perfect, but us Republicans want nothing more than to see him fail, because we're all racists and hate that a black man is in office. Right?

His failure can't have anything to do with the fact that he is wholly incompetent and completely ineffective as a leader, and the fact that he walks all over the Constitution of the United States, or that he's single-handedly divided this nation along deeper racial lines than at any point since the 1950's... NO, that can't be the case at all, can it.
